YATAI SCHOOL is an NGO that provides free education and meals to economically disadvantaged children in Cambodia. We bring the joy of learning and hope to children who cannot attend school. With your support, we can give these children a brighter future.
Our Mission
To provide high-quality educational opportunities to children living in impoverished areas of Cambodia and to build a sustainable educational support system.
Activities
- Operation and maintenance of educational organizations and facilities
- Fundraising, management of donations from Japan and abroad, and development and implementation of educational programs
- Providing educational information and awareness activities
- Other activities necessary to achieve our mission
About Our School
- YATAI SCHOOL provides free education and meals to economically disadvantaged children in Cambodia. We bring the joy of learning and hope to children who cannot attend school.
- School Days: Tuesday to Sunday (closed on Mondays and public holidays)
- School Hours: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM (two hours of classes in the morning and afternoon)
About Our Students
- The children attending YATAI SCHOOL are Muslim children living on boats on the Mekong River in Cambodia. Their family circumstances vary, but many cannot attend school due to economic hardship.Family Situations:
- Orphaned
- Victims of parental abuse
- Parents imprisoned, etc.
Life Priorities:
- Collecting garbage or begging to help their families, with education often taking a back seat
YATAI SCHOOL provides these children with a safe learning environment and meals, nurturing hope for the future.
